Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. 2) The demos and game samples that came with PlayBasic are excellent and show what it is capable of.
3) The IDE is 'ok' (I'm a VB and C#/C++ user (both legacy and .Net) so I'm used to powerful IDE's from MS.)
4) PlayBasic seems to be brilliant at what it is meant for - 2D games production made easy!
